I am a citizen of Bangladesh. soon i am going to sit for my H.S.C exam. Within October 2008 i will get my result and during this period i will become an immigrant in Canada. Then i will be eligible for entering at any undergraduate program and I am very keen to study Medicine and get my M.D degree from a medical school in canada. I have already visited websites but could not get my required informations. I need informations about the requirements for admission, required grade points based on the educational system in Bangladesh, tuition fees, accomodation facility and other services for immigrant students.

  1. Most applicants for admission to medicine in Canada have at least a BSc in one of the biological sciences.  Admission is very competitive...for every seat there are about 150 applicants.  It is not uncommon for someone to apply 3-4 years running...most put in their time by getting an MSc or some further degree to help with their CV when applying.  There are a number of faculties of medicine in Canada...the largest being the University of Toronto...it is allied with 7 teaching hospitals and every specialty and sub-specialty is taught here.
