Study abroad in Mexico, Argentina, or Chile?

Hey, I am trying to decide where to spend my junior year abroad. (I would stay in the capitals of each country). My thoughts so far...

-Mexico: cheap, but dirty water, so I can't eat salad for a year in restaurants....ahhh. Also, Mexico City is dangerous.

-Argentina: great night life, unfriendly people?

-Chile: I don't know much about Chile?

Where is it easiest to get good grades? haha I am not even really joking. Also, which country is cheapest? Thanks!

  1. ArArgentines unfriendly? wow you do need an education! Argentines are possibly the friendliest people i met in South America (granted I've only been to Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil but still)

Chileans are less friendly but also they are a richer country than Argentina and Im afraid I've never been to Mexico so you're on your own there.

Argentina is definitely cheaper than Chile

  2. Why not Panama? Mo betta!

  3. Por supuesto Argentina CHE!!! I say Argentina...I am also partial because my father is Argentinian but still. I studied abroad there my junior year of college and loved it. I lived there for 4.5 months with only like 900 dollars spending money...of course I lived with my own family for free but still traveled daily, ate out, went to boliches(what they call dance clubs there), bars, and traveled and still had some left over cash. 1 US dollar is equal to around 3 PESOS Argentinos sooo...you make out better once you get there. My 900 bucks was actually like 2700 in Buenos Aires. Some things are expensive like any capital city but you can def. eat, shop and party for cheap and still have a blast! The food is amazing, the people are amazing and they have some great language schools there also. There are also streets designated for shopping, thaters, museums...I can't even explain how amazing that country is. I would def. have to say Chile is more expensive and Mexico is pretty cheap too depending where you study but I felt very safe in Argentina...although the country is still more or less in economic crisis so there are pick pockets and that sort of thing on trains/subways etc. but....just be smart like any time you travel anywhere. Carry your backpack infront of you rather than on your back when walking in crowded areas, don't take out wads of money in public and be respectful of the culture. Just be smart ya know what I mean? Have fun...try new things and keep an open mind! have fun!!!
