the study of genetics and/or

the study of dreams?

"The Study of Genetics" is actually just, "genetics" because genetics itself is the science of heredity and variation in living organisms.

And I also do not know of a specific name for the study of dreams, since what you call this will depend on the discipline you approach it with - ie, a neurobiolgist and a spiritualist will probably study them very differently, but they will both still be "studying dreams"
