Matthew 5:8....Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
See Ps 24:4.... He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.
Ps 73:1....Surely God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.
Prov 22:11....He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious
will have the king for his friend.
Titus 1:15.....15To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
1 John 3:2....Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears,we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
In Matthew 5:8 Notice, Jesus puts His emphasis upon the heart
Compare with Philippians 3:19....Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God†(Matthew 5:8). That’s it! That’s the goal of the Christian life! That’s what we are living for – that we may live our life in such a way that we see God. If we see God, that will open up the treasure trove of all the blessings, not only for eternity, but also for life here and now. And the key to open that treasure trove is a pure heart!
