Hello everybody! I have done my Master s in Social Work(MSW) and have 2 years relevant work experience. And now am working out my plans to migrate to Canada. My elder brother is there (Ontario) with PR status. So can anybody help me with the study options there especially some 1 year

course which wont cost much? And about study options in Canada; which would be cheaper if we compare Australia, New Zealand and US to Canada? Can anybody suggest me a course related to MSW and an University where i can do this course with low cost? Looking forward to hear from U all...

  1. If you are not a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant you will pay very very high fees at any Canadian university. If and when you are a landed immigrant you will pay the same fees as citizens. Go to www.aucc.ca and you will find a searchable database in which you can locate all MSW programmes at all Canadian universities. You can browse them and see which one(s) you like.  Good luck

  2. If you already have your MSW and 2 years experience - the question for me is WHY do you want to go to school in CAN - do you want to go on for a PHD?  Are you trying to go to school to get into CAN?  Is there an area you are interested in?  Obviously staying in the US and going to a state school will generally be cheaper than going to any other location.
