Question:

Studying Abroad - From U.S. to U.K. (Hopefully)?

Ok, I'm in 10th grade currently, and I have an online friend (for years). I'm planning to try and see if I cant opt to Study Aboard over there, preferably to Glamorgan University (I think I spelled that right).

Anyways, I think I read I needed 200 points, or something, and I wanted to know more over it. Because here I need, like, 36 credits to pass, so it's definitely a different system. :/ I just wanna know if I can figure out if I'd even meet requirements on my own (that, and I allowed FOR ONCE my grades to slack because of transferring schools so much in one year). I'm darned serious about actually working off to be able to go, if I can (or near it, really, even).

I guess, I want more advice over "Studying Abroad", and if I can do that/if that'd be a good place to go to for what I want to be (which is a Psychiatrist). Thanks for any and all help you give. <3

  1. Go for it. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have definately studied abroad in London or Paris for a semester. Now I'm in my mid 20s with a job and apartment. Can't do it.I do however still plan on taking a trip to the UK.

But girl don't let this opportunity pass you by. All I can do is visit.I can't live there though because now I have responsibilities.

Go for it now. Don't you dare hesitate my love.

  2. dont do it..the UK is BORING...cant believe i blew 2000 bucks to go there

okay dont tell me i didnt tell you..its just that the UK is so similar to the US already..london to san francisco/nyc....why not somewhere exotic like thailand..check out the vegetarian festivals where they pierced their cheeks with metal rings...midget boxing, the most beautiful transvestites that are claimed to be more gorgeous than actual women...or china with the tera cotta soldiers..hecka even russia is more exotic

  3. Hi i live in the uk and my boyfriend just moved from the us to study here. Basically because the grading system is so different in both countries its hard to judge however i lived in the us for two yrs and went high school so lets say in the us you are in 10th grade well here in the uk your actually in 9th grade simply because we only go for 7 th grade through to 11th and not 12th. Study hard as some universities are higher ranked than others so check online and see how high your university is, the higher it is the harder and better grades you need to have. Good luckx
