Studying Abroad In Taiwan or Japan?

Question

I'm considering going to Taiwan or Japan, most likely Japan, in my 3rd or 4th year of high school. Does anyone have any sotries or their experiences? And does anyone know how to write a letter for a request of exchanging to a school? My dad wants me to write one on my own and let him check it over; but I can't even begin to imagine where to start. We are not looking for exchange 'programs' such as EF. Just personal requests. Thank you!

You can't disagree that Chinese is getting stronger.

In the future,Chinese will be important.

If you have an experience to live in a Chinese cultural area,it might help you.And Taiwan's law is more free than China's.Taiwan is a better choice.What do you think?
