So I'm a 20 year old single male college student studying abroad this upcoming semester in each city for 5 weeks at a time. I'm primarily going away because I have had the toughest year of my life and am looking to Europe to clear my mind while being able to keep up with school. I'm interested in sports, cars, and sightseeing. Also, any bars and nightclubs that are "tourist friendly." I'll be there from the end of August to beginning of December so are there other cities/countries worth checking out as well? Please help me out.

  1. You will have a blast.  Great cities and as a student studying abroad, your new friends will know the hip and hot locations.  FYI, don't spend all your time with Americans b/c you will miss out on the cultural exchange.

B/c the US dollar is so weak, you will need access to more cash than probably anticipated.  Amex is a great resource for cash and quick US transfers but you or your parents need a card.  Also, make sure your credit cards do NOT expire during your trip.  (speaking from experience)  And you get a better exchange rate with your credit cards.  ATMs are available but sometimes the US pin numbers don't work.

Make extra photocopies of your passport, if stolen.  Bon Voyage!
