I live in Canada (grade 11) and i was wondering what

requirements would be needed to go to the UK for university, because i know non-international students take A-levels and such. Is that needed for international students??

I want to become a doctor so if I was going into medicine, are there any particular exams i need to take?

Are most medical schools there very selective?? and do they look at your grades from grade 8 and up? or just grade 12???

I know i asked a lot of questions.. any answers would be helpful. Thanks!

  1. Studying abroad can be done through certain programs. They don't look at if you want to be a doctor or if you need to take certain exams unless you are applying to a college. I do not know if it is possible for you to study abroad at a medical college until you are in college. You need to talk to a school guidance counseler about that.

Once again, it depends on which program for what the process is. I studied abroad to Spain for a month and I had to send them my high school transcript, just to show that I am passing and doing well (I went when I was a junior and now I am a senior).

I traveled through summer discovery: http://www.summerdiscovery.com (They have a month-long trip to England and you study at Cambridge University) . You should check them out!
