Question:

Studying abroad - programs for American students?

I consider studying abroad in Europe. I've travelled in Europe, and I love it. I speak a reasonable amount of French, and I have heard Dutch and Icelandic as long as I can remember, so I can understand it pretty well though I can't speak a lot of it. However, I pick up languages fast.

Are there any programs for American high school students (ages 14-18) for studying abroad in Europe? It would be great to find out some information. Thanks!!!!!

  1. Hi!

Check this website www.studyin.nl (yes, without a g), there you will find information about all the study programmes and courses in English in the Netherlands.

  2. I wish I had copied the answer I just wrote for another teen:

Check out Rotary International.  They take great care of their students and have locations around the world.  I was an exchange student to Japan when I was 16, and I loved it.  In fact, it completely changed my life direction; it's very much the initial spark that led to my becoming an ESL teacher.
