Studying for CII exam?

Hi, I'm doing the assignments for the first CII exam and I've come across a question I can't figure out.

What is the "Standing" of codes of Practice?

a) They are unimportant

b) They are legally binding on insurers

c) They are morally binding on insurers

d) They are legally binding on policyholders

Any information regarding the subject will be welcomed

No I'm afraid the answer is actually study. What's the point in doing this course if you don't ever learn to understand it? Waste of time.

By the way Aires... it isn't necessary as easy as saying just study as the questions asked aren't always answered in the study text with the CII exams.
