Studying in europe or stay in US?

Question

I'm an asian, united states citizen.

I'm thinking about either studying business or enginnering.

If i stayed in the US, i would most likely go to university of michigan, or a school around that level.

so could you tell me some prosand cons about staying here or going over to europe? and then some suggestions of schools over in the UK would be nice too. [im guessing cambridge and oxford are too tough.] how is manchester? etc etc.

If you are an American and educated in the American education system I hope you were the top of your class and then some. The American education system is very poor compared to the systems in many of the foreign systems.

I had a student from Canada once tell me she was studying (college) in Michigan and she could not believe how ill prepared and lacking in knowledge her American counterparts were.

UK education is most likely even further advanced to their Canadian fellows.

Just be prepared to study very hard should you go there to university.
