  1. It is theoreticly possible to complete an L.L.B. from a fully accredited university in the United Kingdom and then complete additional legal eduction from an ABA (American Bar Assocation) law school.

This additional legal education usually takes between 1 and 2 years at an average cost of $35,000 per year, not including living expenses.

Once the additional legal education is complete you would then need to find a law firm willing to sponsor you for a visa. You cannot simply just graduate and start working and before that you will need to pass the bar exam before you are legally licenced to practice law.

There are many barriers that need to be overcome before you can begin to work. You will need to apply and be accepted into a law school (no easy task) and then an F1 (student) visa and of course the financial means to pay for tution an fund your living expenses - all of this before you even contemplating how much  you could earn and the best law firms.
