Stuff about Modern arnis??

I am finally starting Modern Arnis is there anything i should know about it??

Not much is to say for it is all in the internet and it is mostly history. Here is a link from World Modern Arnis http://wmarnis.com/, Currently there are only a few Datu's (  Rank- personally Awarded by Master Remy Presas founder of Modern arnis) around the world and they are listed in the site.

All you need to know is that Modern Arnis is a Filipino Martial art that uses sticks (Rattan mostly) as an extension of the hands for combat. It is the culmination of years of experience by Master Remy from different Filipino martial arts and other systems he studied.

It is a beautiful and effective Martial art and I am sure that if you stick long enough you’ll like as I do.
