Stumpy thing on a cactus???

Question

i had this cactus for about eight years and it has grown but never flowered or anything. it's got two grey-ish furry lumpy things growing out of it. does anyone know what they are? thanks. xx

Looks like they are going to flower. Most only last a day or so in flower so get the camera ready.

my cactus has those every few years, its just a flower developing. they're usually a beautiful red colour... so nothing to worry about.

my mom has them and they open to a star shaped leaves and then a small red flower opens within it.  Maybe thats what yours are.
