Stun gun / Taser age requirement

I was robbed last night at gun point, cuz I live in a bad neighborhood. I was thinking about investing in a taser / stun gun to protect myself, I live in miami, does anyone know the age you have to be to purchase one, I'm 18

Action is quicker than reaction, so I wouldn't recommend using any weapon against someone pointing a gun at you. And I certainly wouldn't recommend tasing someone with a gun.

you would use a stun gun/taser against a real gun? i think you'd lose.

If you have a credit card you can buy almost anything online. Check the laws in your area regarding the age you need to be to carry one. I think 18 is old enough, but you should research to be sure.
