Stun guns and voltage?

ok so the name basically say it all, purpose is to stun. but how much voltage is considered deadly/fatal?? and i never got stun before and don't plan to but does it leave a burn mark or anything?

  2. It is not voltage but the amps that kill.  100 milli Amps is sufficient to stop a heart.  Most stun guns deliver only 2.1 milli Amps, well below the lethal threshold.  1000 milli Amps will kill you outright and leave significant tissue damage.

    Stun guns that use barbs, will leave a small puncture mark and you usually have a small bruise where the contact with your skin was made.
