Stung by a yellowjacket.. Please Help!

On saturday morning i got stung by a yellowjacket. I had never had a bad reaction before and the swelling, which was minimal, usually went away by the next day. I got stung on my leg and now i think ive had a reaction bc the place where it bit me is huge! its all red and itchy and has purple in the middle. it been getting worse everyday. the stinger if def out.

what is this? am i allergic to bees? is it an ifection? anything would be helpful thanks. also i got stung by one on thursday and had a worse than usual reaction but nothing like this.

  1. well  you were stung thursday   then on saterday both worse than normale reaction you need to take a benadryle  you need to see a doctor so they can help determin e the treatment  in case you are alergic

You might be allergic.  Generally if someone is allergic to bees or wasps, it doesn't happen with the first sting.  The reaction tends to worsen with time.  If you get stung again and have a similar reaction with swelling and all (or if the swelling on your leg doesn't go down soon) get to the clinic and have them check you out.  If they think that you are allergic, they may prescribe an epi pen for if you get stung again to prevent anaphalaxis.  For now you should be fine, but just watch out.
