Stupid HOES?

okay so im in 7th grade and i did volleyball this year my favorite sport its sooo much fun i LOVE IT....im pretty good at it i just cant like aim the ball!!! My sister made JV (junior varsity in 8th grade) and she was captain of varsity in highschool shes 22 now and i wanna be just like her and now my cousin who also made JV is now captain of the varsity team in the highschool UGH the problem is some of the girls on my team already tried out this year and there REALLY good REALLLLLLYYYY good thats why i wanna practice over the summer so i can make it! any volleyball tips (also it will be sweet revenge for those hoes who said i couldnt do it)

practice with your friends who also like it.

also a major help is club. so try out for a club team. even if your team sucks it will help!

also go to lots of camps. like local or not  just go to hitting/blocking (that really helped last year when i went(ohio state) it was a day camp too. NOT EXPENSIVE and also try serving camps!. a girl on my team went to ohio states serving camp for the day and in 7th grade she never played and she was the kinda girl who if she had to serve you would take her out. but in 8th grade she was beastlyy and we would put her in all the time!. and just from practicing all the time. she was my neighbor so we played all the time and we both benefited even though i was a starter and remained one. but it still helped

i play volleyball been playing since 4th grade in 8th now i had an aau tournament today actually and we won 1st and i have to say that you cannot learn by reading you have to have someone to help you like i have my dad who used to be pro. so maybe you should look into some over summer camps there alot of fun and should help

Don't worry you sound exactly like me last season, but i never had an older sister who was good at it too. If I was you I would ask her to help. She could prbly show some stuff you didn't know how to do. And maybe even ask your cousin over to practice 4 awhile. Even if you can't do that stuff,  if you love volleyball and think your good, I'm sure you'll make the team. I did.

bumping tip- always point ur shoulders towards your target

serving tip- take one step throw it up and as u are about the hit the ball drag your foot on the floor (make sure its pointed) this will give u more of a push off

spiking tip-practice approach with a tennis ball in your hand then trow it down in front of ten 10 foot line  

setter tips- make sure its completely finger tips

Practice with friends.  Try serving, spiking, dinking, setting, and just hitting the ball back and fourth.  And practice aiming while doing all these moves.  Soon, you'll be able to hit and aim it exactly where you want it to go.  I did it that way and now I can aim anywhere I want it to go.  I also aim it where the weakest team member is so I know they'll miss it and give us a point. ahha

Dont worry about playing in leages make sure you get as many touches as posilbe and work out!!! u cant get better unless ur stonger!
