I swear the more i am in yahoo answers the more I shake my head in disbelief at some of the answers i see here , truly makes me wonder why the  i even waste my time.

Your problem is most likely caused by one of two issues #1

your windows zero configuration is turned off in services

make sure to set it to automatic and turn it on

#2 your card may require a client manager , since it's a belkin this MAY  be the case , but I am willing to bet that your

configuration service is not on

you didnt program your router correctly?

do you have wifi turned on  on your comp??? is the router correctly connected to the modem with the right cables?

2. you didnt set it up correctly

3. the connection to your computer is loose

4. your computer has a temporary error, restart your computer

5. the adapter is incompatible with your computer

6. there are no wifi connections nearby

7. your router is incompatible with your computer
