Stupid ipod touch music icon!?

i have a hacked ipod touch and i just started having this problem. i click on either the music or video icon, and it will just bring me back to the main ipod home screen. I dont want to restore it, because im afraid that it will s***w with my firmware and applications. help please

Even though you don't want to, restore it. Get the new firmware 2.0. It is worth every penny and you get all the same apps as a jailbroken ipod and it will still be under warrenty.
