Stupid new Australian P plater system?

Yeap. We lov the system.(us full Licence drivers) that huge P plate that you hav to where, is for us. to let us know that your not fully experienced.

No I dont and in the U.S. it would be a great idea to have just to let everyone around know that you are a beginner driver and that we should use caution while around you................

We have that same system here in Michigan, USA.

When I was 16, I though it was total c**p that I could only carry one passenger (until I got a 2 seater). But now that I've got my operators license, and I've let 5 or so years pass, I've realized how dangerous many (not all) drivers that just got their operators license in a car full of 16 year olds really is.

Granted, there are many 16 year olds who are very mature and responsible, and there are many 25 year olds who act like they're 12. It all depends on the person, and it seems like the government is trying to play it safe.
