Question:

Stupid question? Comcast DVR downstairs; upstairs no DVR and only the old (limited, non-premium) channels?

Why can't I watch the channels above 99 upstairs, too? The box must supply the other channels, right?

I just can't figure out how the signal is split.

  1. Nope, you need to rent either a DVR or at least the digital box for each TV if you want all the channels on each TV.

  2. u dont need a DVR to watch channels above 99. downstairs u probably have digital cable and upstairs u probably have basic cable. call ur local cable company and ask for digital cable upstairs.
