If you buy a certain brand of tennis string, will they have their logo already on their string or do you have to stencil it on?

  1. Usually they have the name of the string in small print. To get the big letter on it you have to use a stencil.

  2. Depends on the brand - i.e. if you want a Wilson, Prince, Head, etc logo, you'll have to use a stensil.

If Babolat, it's much easier.  I usually just get a permanent marker and "paint" the double lines myself!

  3. no tennis string comes with the brand logo already on the string. you will need to ask the stringer put the string into your racquet frame and s/he will strain the string using some machine. after securing the string ends, then you can ask the stringer to paint the logo on the strings - s/he will use the stencil and stencil ink. hope it helps :)

  4. stencil

  5. Hi P,

I asked a racquet stringer and they said it had to be stenciled.  Don't know what is used.  I do know that no question is stupid.

My favorite stencil for tennis would be "Back At You".

Sorry that was pretty bad.  Good Luck.  Aloha.

  6. no - u need to use a stencil

  7. You would have to stencil it on.  Really though why would you want to advertise for them.  The stencil also harms your game.... the ball skids on paint and gives you less control/spin.
