  4. Assuming you are flying from the UK.  You do not need a passport if you travel by boat, but you do require some photo id to fly.

  8. Where from? Where to? A passport is useful but an ID may suffice depending on where u are coming from.

  11. depends on where you are traveling from, but just to be on the safeside YES!!! i woudl bring it. you really cannot travel anywhere these days without proper identification.

  13. I don't think so. valid ID such as a full driving licence should cover it. check with the airline you are thinking of flying with just to make sure. I know certain airlines count it as an internal flight
