http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sturridge-c10076 has admitted that he is more than happy to play anywhere, but  believes that he is ideally suited to playing as a centre forward.
Over the course of the last couple of weeks, Sturridge hasn’t been given as much playing time, as he would have hoped for.
The striker has also often been regarded to be rather selfish and as a result, he is no longer a part of the Blues first team.
The forward has now gone on to admit that he isn’t very comfortable with playing out of position, since he believes he is more suited to playing as a centre forward.
Sturridge has been used on the wings more than once this season, since the manager feels that his pace is set to make him a threat to just about any defence that the team faces.
Nonetheless, the forward has now admitted that he wouldn’t mind playing out on the flank, as long as he gets more opportunities to prove his worth on the pitch.
When talking about his form and the way he has been playing in recent weeks, Sturridge is quoted to have said:  “That's the position I will always pick myself, centre-forward.”
“But whatever position the manager picks me in I'm happy and right now, for the team, I'm in the wide position.”
"I will always give 100 per cent and work as hard as I can to get the success we all want."
The forward then went on to admit that the Blues were looking to end the season on a high and that he would be more than happy to help the team in any way possible.
Sturridge added: “At Chelsea we want to finish the season off as well as we can, we have some big games coming up and if we can finish the season with some silverware it would be fantastic.
"I am confident. I think it's going to be very exciting."
