I have a day to spend in Stuttgart, a Friday, can somebody suggest something I should look out for? Maybe some interesting place to eat, somewhere nice to visit, some night life activites, some shopping places which are popular?

I hope to get to know Stuttgart more, thanks for your help!

  1. visit the castle ( Schloss) in Ludwigsburg....

    Watch a good soccergame....

  2. Ah, the city of the rampant mare!  Find your way to the fussgangerzone and stroll along having a wonderful time -- this time of year you will have the Christmas market, and wonderful warm "most" - a hot alcoholic apple cider.  Right in the center there are many things to see from the train station to Konigstrasse to the palace gardens.  But dont take my word for it, go to:

    www.stgt.com.

Viel spass!  (And the Spatlese wine is wonderful, grab a bottle to bring home.)  Also be sure to enjoy some Schwabish cooking!

  3. SI Centrum

On 2 December 1994, in Stuttgart the "SI Event Center Stuttgart" was opened, which is a unique concept in Europe, the diversity of the offers of which could only be offered previously in hotel palaces like the "Ceasar's Palace" or the "MGM Grand" in Las Vegas. The SI Event Center offers a complete leisure time program with the Apollo and Palladium Theaters, four star hotel, different topic restaurants, multiplex cinema MaxX with 6 screens, entertainment, shopping as well as possibilities to relax in the SchwabenQuellen.

    TV Tower

From no other point in Stuttgart is the view of the city, of the vineyard landscape of the Neckar Valley, of the Swabian land up to the Alb, to the Black Forest and to the Odenwald so comprehensive as from the television tower. Many days a year, the panorama also includes the mountain summits of the German, Austrian and Swiss Alps. Has also restaurants.

    Königstraße

Exquisite shopping mile with department stores, special shops, cafés and relaxation areas - street artists from the whole world liven up the pedestrian zone, which is more than 1000 m, with concerts and theater.

If you check the website you will find more like castle, churches if you interested in those
