Style And Panache likely to win Skybet.Com Handicap
Style And Panache will show a stylish run at Windsor racecourse on Monday, April 16 in a bid to lift the ace title of Skybet.Com Handicap, a Class 4 contest that is scheduled to start at 5:00 (GMT).
The high-voltage race over a distance of 5 furlongs and 10 yards has received 16 entries while offering £4,852 as prize money.
Style And Panache is geared up to compete against Avonmore Star, Escape To Glory, Pearl Blue, Sutton Veny, Sugar Beet, Sulis Minerva, Cadeaux Pearl, Desert Strike, Taurus Twins, Alpha Delta Whisky, Six Wives, Solemn, Volcanic Dust and Jameela Girl.
The David Evans-trained bay filly marvellously accomplished an epic triumph in her second last outing on October 26, 2011. She moved forward to grab a runner-up rank in the next race on April 10, 2012.
Overall, the four-year-old veteran runner has won 4 out of her total 31 starts to date, earning £20,848.
The brilliant filly started her professional career in March 2010, breaking her maiden in the month of May. She has been greatly consistent throughout her track time.
At the moment, the maverick sprinter is carrying immense fighting spirit that will help her make a big impact in today showdown. The filly’s chances to finish first are as high as 85 percent provided she produces a clean and smooth run.
Among the other runners, Sulis Minerva and Sugar Beet are also likely to perform well in the race, and each of them is strong enough to even trigger an upset.
Sulis Minerva elegantly achieved two triumphs on December 31, 2011 and January 21, 2012. Jeremy Gask’s bay mare went ahead to grab a runner-up position on February 11. She excellently finished 6th each in the last two outings of her career.
On the other hand, Sugar Beet won a race each in November and December 2011. The Ronald Harris-trained bay filly finished 4th and 5th in two back-to-back races during February 2012.
Come what may, success seems to be bending on Style and Panache. However, the favourite filly will have to face reasonable resistance. Good luck to her.
