federer plays like Italia football. He execute opposite player with genius shot and finish the point very early or normally lose with his shot. Nadal plays like his country spain football. he make little shot and shot and shot and shot like spain football passing passing. and finaly complete the point. He finish the point very late or lose with normally opposite players shot. federer make more points from his executive shots than number of errors federer make on his executive shots always. so, federer finally wins every game. Nadal make more points from opponent's errors than opponent's executive point so, He wins a lot match especially on clay. federer=Italia football, nadal=spain football. what do you think?

  1. wow,what a nice comparison.I really enjoyed it.

I agree with u. I believe that when you watch roger's playing & you see his genius tactics  u wonder it is really tough to play against him but when u watch rafa's playing u say it is easy and he doesn't use any speciall tactics but because his shots are powerful he can win agianst most of the players I think especially on clay .but roger just thinks how he can play better and what tactics he should use 2 win the match.

so, in my opinion,ur comparison is right and I think the same.

  2. I think Rafa is a very talented young player and will be #1 at one point. He will win the French for the 4th time in a row.

    Vamos Rafa x*x

  3. Federer plays like Italia football? what you mean he cheats?

Federer Vs Nadal reminds me of Steve Davis Vs Cliff Thorburn respectively in snooker  Both excellent players but Davis and Federer have the edge.

Thorburn and Nadal have to work relentlessly for each point whereas Davis and Federer are naturally gifted.

The difference being that snooker is played on the same surface all the time where Tennis is not.

    VAMOS RAFA

  4. well mechanically federer is sheer power ( andy rodick too) but uses it  concessively and correctly.  Nadal is an endurance player and waits for the competition to make mistakes sometimes. He also is the king of top spin, which is why Nadal has always owned the french open (clay courts).

  5. Federer plays with his brain; Nadal plays with his strength

  6. Federer is more fluid, natural and automatic.  His tennis is effortless even though he may be working hard.  Strong without being the most muscular.  All-court, powerful but with finesse, discipline and huge court awareness that only a few ever possess.  That's why he's legend-type and No.1.

Nadal is more of a formula, technical, mechanical and physical player who thinks with every move in the point.  But he can be graceful.  He is strong in looks and play, ready to grind it out.

  7. Federer has a very versatile game, more so than anyone else on tour. He can hit with power, but doesn't rely too heavily on it. His serve is very effective, despite the fact that it is nowhere near the fastest delivery out there. He is more of a shot-maker than Nadal and hits much flatter groundstrokes, and looks to come to net more and to end points more quickly.

Nadal, on the other hand, hits everything with massive top-spin and uses that and his incredible fitness to wear opponents into the ground. No matter how well an opponent strikes the ball, he always seems to be able to get it back. He's also impossible to wear out. Nadal is a quick study though. Anyone who saw him play Roger in last year's Wimbledon final has to have been impressed by how well he has improved his net game.

They are both great players, but I agree, their playing styles have very little in common.

  8. yeah agreed, rafa grinds his opponents down, hes very fit and strong and fast. Fed plays tactically and aggressivly. He uses net, big serves, and hits alot of winners (and consquently a few errors 2). they r both amazing players, it just comes down 2 which style u like better.
