Stylish Hair Do for a busy Mom?

Question

Does anyone have any ideas of a cute, stylish hair do for a busy Mom? I have no time to do my hair... but still want to look pretty!!!

Right now, its bone straight... dark brown, approx. down to the middle of my back, and always in a pony tail.

curl your hair with either hot rollers or a curling iron and add alot of hair spray after you are done with that turn your head upside done and put your curls in a pony tail. then, if you want, tie a ribbon around your head, kind of like where u place a headband on a baby

Bit of an 'out there' suggestion, but it's something I'm considering as I never have the time to do my hair any more, but would you consider getting braids? With extensions - it's a little pricey but it lasts months. Tends to be the kind of thing you either love or you hate - personally I love them, but to each their own! But it is completely hassle free (I used to have them a few years ago), no styling, no bother, and always attracts a lot of compliments! If this isn't for you, then perhaps you could get your hair cut in a style that's easier to manage. It's pretty difficult to do anything with hair as long as yours without a lot of time and attention - but if you would consider having a few inches cut off, layers put in, use volumising shampoo and conditioner, and rub mousse into it before drying (takes 10 seconds, works wonders), quickly blow dry, take the smallest amount of wax, rub between your fingers, and ruffle up the layers, and set with a good hairspray. The whole process, after drying, would probably take about 2 minutes, which you'd probably save on drying time anyway for having hair a few inches shorter!

how about a bob? it's looks great on women with straight hair and never goes out of style.
