Minjee Lee and Su Hyun Oh, golfers from Australia, are moving ahead in the US Girls' Junior Championship.
The players won both the rounds of 64 and 32 in the event and have now moved up the ladder. These wins are important for the players who will now enter the round of 16. This is the third level of the event, where they will face the best players who have
come up through the rounds.
In the rounds of 64, the first level of the Championship, Minjee Lee played against the American player, Taylor Totland. The game ended in Lee’s favour with a score of 150 and 158.
Su Hyun Oh faced Lydia Choi, another American player. Oh won the game after a very intense competition. She managed the win by a narrow margin of 150 and 158
This great form was repeated in the next round, which is known as rounds of 32. This round saw the Australian duo playing against the best players who had finished the previous round on a winning note. This success has given everyone renewed confidence and
hopes for another victory.
Minjee Lee faced the American player Ju Hee Bae in the round of 32. She won with an easy 7 and 6. This win has given her the chance to move up to the round of 16. Su Hyun Oh also fared well in this round.
She played against Alison Lee from the US. This was a real nail-biting session for both the players as they moved neck to neck toward the finish.
