Liverpool striker, Luis Suarez, has revealed that he does not get affected by all the jeers and boos that are hurled at him by the crowd, claiming instead, that it further spurs him on.

Although he has established himself as one of the most dangerous strikers in the Premier League, he has also remained in the thick of controversies.
Recently, he re-emerged in the headlines for all the wrong reasons again, for simulating dives in order to win over penalties. Consequently, he was being dubbed as a ‘cheat’ by scores of players and managers.
Suarez receives a bitter reception during the Reds away games, in which the crowds hurl brickbats at him and jeer him whenever he gets the ball.
The behaviour of the English spectators towards the striker may have forced any player to leave the league and ply his trade elsewhere. However, Suarez does not view it that way.
The 25-year old said that the crowd’s jeers and unruly attitude motivates him to do even better, sparking extra energy and enthusiasm in him.
“I think you need to really know a person before you criticize them or speak out about them,” he told the reporters.
“I think sometimes the opposition fans are more interested in booing Luis Suarez for the problems he had or because he's gone down for something than they are in their own team.”

“That's what the other clubs' fans need to do - get behind their own side and not just think about Suarez, because all that does is motivate me even more to do well,” he added.
