Luis Suarez was in hot waters again this weekend after he bit http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 at Anfield. The referee did not notice the incident but there was protest from Chelsea players on
the incident. It was a game of ups and downs for the former Ajax Amsterdam man as he later scored the equaliser for the home side in the last moments of the game.
The game ended 2-2 with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 found the net for the away team.
Suarez apologized for his actions on a social networking website and admitted that his act has caused embarrassment to the club and the players. He further added that he has also offered his apology to Ivanovic and is deeply disappointed
with the incident.
“I am deeply sorry for my inexcusable behaviour during our match against Chelsea. I have issued an apology and have tried to contact Branislav Ivanovic to speak to him personally. I apologise also to my manager, playing colleagues
and everyone at Liverpool for letting them down,” the Uruguayan international was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre also admitted that the behaviour of the player was inexcusable and the club will surely look into the matter. The chief insisted that Suarez’s actions are not representing
the club in a good way and the player should take responsibility for whatever he has done.
“Luis has made an unreserved apology for his actions today. His behaviour is not befitting of any player wearing a Liverpool shirt and Luis is aware that he has let himself and everyone associated with the club down,” he concluded.
Luis Suarez is now waiting for the decision FA announces. There are reports that the player might be banned for the remaining games of the season. Some of the club’s former players have also regarded the game against Chelsea as
Suarez’s last for the club.
