Question:

Sub and amp help?

If i run a sub that is 1600watt and 3200watt MAX, at 4 ohms, and the amp is 1400watt RMS will there be a sound difference, and will it have enough power?

  1. That RMS on the amp is enough to power the sub, but it won't hit as hard as it would if it were exactly the RMS. 1400 watts is plenty and if you tune it correctly if will be plenty loud.
