ok, my sub moves around in the boot of my car because i didn't get round to securing it yet, so i pushed it back into place and pushed it too hard against the side of the boot, and now the pin for the white (left) rca cable connector has snapped off. how can i fix it? i don't really want to get a new cable because i'd have to run it up through the car which i don't want to have to do. iv got a few pics of it if they would help explain it better http://things11change.deviantart.com/art/crappy-fusion-cable-95783968 many thanks

  1. It's actually going to be pretty easy to fix what you have.

the hardest part is going to be removing the male pin from inside the amp. Maybe try getting a small drill bit to sink into the broken off pin but what will probably happen is the pin will spin in the female plug. you may need to disassemble the amp and try to push the pin out from the inside.

once you have the pin out you can get a replacement soldier on end from a stereo shop or maybe radio shack to soldier onto the RCA cables. use a meter to make sure you get the center pin a positive and the shield as negative.

feel free to contact me if you are not sure on how to do this.
