Subaru engine in '72 Bus ?

I can get a Subaru engine for free, has any-one put one in a VW Bus.

First,  see if the post about engine swaps is for you and then see what people are saying about the early water cooled bus and you might will think your engine in there is just dandy.

The cost is approaching $4000. So you might look at the new front wheel drive vans and consider one of those.

Your model has no radiator -so will cost even more.
