Subconjunctival Hemorrhage!! red eye!! can it spread??

i have red eye and i just found it about a couple hours age and before i went to the doctor i wanted to do some research on it.. and i was wondering that if after the "red eye" is there can it spread throughout the white of the eye or does it just stay in the spot that its in??

If it is a red eye from a subconjunctival hemorrhage it will spread.  Gravity will slowly help disperse some of the blood, causing it to mostly spread downward.  This may cause it to look worse but is helping it to resolve faster.
