Yeah, Disney does it a lot.

in Lion King with "s*x" written in i think it's' either dirt or leaves when they fly into the air.  and in the Little Mermaid the priest or whatever has a ***** and it's like...pretty obvious. lol.

I have seen some things on Rocko's Modern Life that were a little questionable. But that SpongeBob Clip was made out of context. Unfortunately I can say I have seen almost every episode and they just took statements out of context.

I agree that much of it is taken out of context. However, cartoonists, by definition, have a sense of humor and often are misfits. Many of them will admit this. So it would not suprprise me to find that they've tried to sneak in a few zingers over the years.

I do not believe it is to try to influence nor affect kids, though. I think it's so they can have some fun with their work and show it to fellow cartoonists as a sort of "look what I got away with."
