The Serbian international was guilty off a handball in the last minutes of the Borussian's game against English Premier League club at the Etihad Stadium to penalise the Bundesliga outfit from clinching all three points.

that it was never a penalty after the English side scored from the set-piece to share the spoils.

"He shoots from half a yard and I just have my hand. I've just seen the pictures, but obviously I have a hand, I can't cut it off and he hits it,” the former Mainz 05 and South Florida Bulls defender added.
"I think it's clear to see in the pictures that I wasn't trying to get to the ball because I didn't have time to react. Therefore, it was never in my life a penalty," the 2012 German League winner finally concluded.
Therefore, the star player stressed that he was not planning to stop the ball from his hand, as it is evident from the match pictures and videos.
