Subs and amp problem plez help,lol?

1st both subs went out like nothing , and their not riped or busted cause no sound at all is playing so i bought new kickers and installed them they worked just fine with the same amp,but ''lol'' when i turn the music up sometimes they turn off so i have to take the fuse off and put it back in and the amp and subs go back on ''the fuse next to the battery'' i put the same fuse cause none are burnt !! why does the music keep going off and i have to put the fuse back in ?? and what happened to my other subs ?? wiring is correct

  1. Check the ohms of your subs and check the lowest compatible ohm setting for your amp. for example running a 1ohm subwoofer setup with an amp that can only do 2ohms minimum will cause your amp and subs to shut off at a higher volume. this could possibly dammage your setup and should be addressed asap. hope this helps.


  2. Make sure you have enough power going to them and that your wiring is big enough to handle the power your giving your subs.

    The only other thing is make sure your fuse is big enough, I am running a 100a fuse with like 50a fuse on my amp. And it never shuts off.

  3. Sounds like the problem i was having.

    If it is you are in danger of frying your amp....

    If you have DVC watch how you wire them...

    If you give alittle more info, like type of speaker and amp, i could help you more.
