Subscribed to seventeen and cosmogirl magazine, but get them late?

Question

I thought that subscribers usually get the magazine before they are on newstands...but I always get mine in the mail a week or so AFTER I see them in the store...which pisses me off!

For example, in the August issue of Seventeen there was a thing to get early screening passes to the sisterhood of the traveling pants, but there was only a limited amount...and if I would've gotten my magazine earlier, then I probably couldn't gotten the tickets! But no...I found out about winning the tickets a few days after it started...and I was too late and they were sold out :(

It depends on where you live and when you subscribed to them. If it was a long time ago and these are some of the lasts ones coming in from when you subscribed or last payed for them. That is what usually happens the longer ago the later you get your magazine. It happened to me too

it mostly depends on where u live and how long it takes them to ship it to where ever u are
