I need something that will help me wake up in the morning and help me pay attention in class. I get 8 hours of sleep every night so I know thats not the problem, but I still feel really drowsy and have trouble paying attention. I'm trying to eat more healthy which is why I stopped drinking Pop. And I dont drink energy drinks. Any suggestions?

  1. If what your talking about is having energy and good mood in the morning, than It's not substitute for caffeine you're looking for :)

I also had the same problem with you months ago, but now I've come to a solution, I agree with Dr. suggestions "Don't eat carbs in the morning.

From my personal experience, I always feel drowsy and sleepy when eating carbs in the morning. What I do :

I drink No Fat, No Sugar Milk (Mineral and Vitamin source)

I consume Colostrum Supplement (For my Vitality and Immune Body System, also enhance my physical performance)

Hope it also works for you :)

Btw if you're looking for caffeine substitute, try ginseng or green tea, but I recommend you drink them in the afternoon...

  2. Tea(Tenin)

  3. Have you had blood tests done?

I felt the exact same as you and it turned out I had low iron.

Iron tablets can boost your energy levels.

Green tea is also very good for you, it keeps you alert and has a variety of other health benefits too.

  4. First, watch what you are eating. Don't eat sugary stuff in the mornings. Cutting out pop is a great start, and it will take time for your body to adapt to a new, healthier metabolism. Instead of eating high carb cereals in the morning, switch to fruits instead.

  5. Tea. Green tea or white tea with honey, and whole grain cereal with fruit.
