Substitute for cornstarch?

It's for use in a frozen yogurt recipe. What other household product can I use?

  1. HERE U ARE:

    Substitutions: 2 T all-purpose flour = 1 tbsp cornstarch

    2 T granular tapioca = 1 tbsp cornstarch

    1 T Arrowroot flour = 1 tbsp cornstarch


  2. I'd use arrowroot - it's just as good a thickener, and doesn't have any taste at all, so you don't get the chalky flavor that cornstarch would add.

  3. All purpose Flour or maybe Baking Soda or Even Baby Powder

  4. Arrowroot is a good substitute for cornstarch but be careful NOT TO BOIL, that will thin your recipe down again.

  5. CORNSTARCH  1 Tbsp = 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour OR 2 tsp arrowroot
