  1. There are many subtitutes for fuel to run vechicles, but they haven't been too much successful for one or more reasons-

    1. CNG, but they are not available in many regions.

    2. LPG, they are very unsafe.

    3. cooking oil.

    4. water, which is made of hydrogen and oxygen, can be used as a rich souce of energy, but scientists haven't developed this to much extent.

  2. who wants cars any way? Why dont people just use bikes

  3. it already exists.. but will not be released until oil supplies have depleted..

    its all economics and politics.

only the consumers lose.. the producers, suppliers and distributors gain.

there are already a number of good electric behicles on the market.. LPG is also dominant but they make it difficult to get.. the technology is out there!!

why would they end a multi billion pound industry until absolutely necessary?

  4. COOKING OIL BUT ITS ILLEGAL

  5. If you were an oil company and some one invented a car that runs on water would you pay the a few million to shut them up and burn the idea. Thats what happened to a man in Wanganui New Zealand about 30 years ago. The technology is there and has been for a long time. Oil companys will profit as long as they can. Even school children can split water to Hydrogen and oxygen. Governments world wide make billions from taxes on fuel. do you think they are going to encourage alterative fuels, no matter what they say in public.

  6. There are many substitutes like cng, lpg.electricity etc.
