So yeah I kinda left my contact solution stuff in my locker today cause I was gonna go swimming but forgot that lol.

These are fortnightly ones so I don't really wanna throw them away, is there anything I can use instead just for tonight?

Thanks

  1. The solutions made for the hard lenses will ruin your softlenses very quickly.

Unless your dad happens to have some ordinary saline solution that he uses for rinsing. At least you could soak your lenses in that until you get some more of your real stuff.

Aside from that...there really is nothing else that can be safely used.

Somebody has to make a trip to a pharmacy and get some more...

Hmmm, baking soda in water...I never heard of that being used. Baking soda doesn't have any qualities that will kill bacteria, in the water or on the lenses...so I don't see how that can be very good.

  2. There is nothing you can use . Your fathers solution will ruin your lenses . Nothing else will give you the antibacterial protection that the solutions will . And you risk going blind if you get a bad infection . You must ask yourself is it worth that . I would rather throw them away than risk losing my vision

  3. You can store them dry in your case.

  4. There is really no way to cleanse the contacts. I would run to a near by pharmacy if I were you, and get some contact soulution.

Oh, why dont you just use your glasses and take the contacts and and put them in your case? Well your only xchoice is to take them out and wear glasses, if you dont want to wear your glasses then your gonna have to live.

  5. well u can put the contacts in a solution that my eye doctor told me to do and it is to put baking soda in water and it will clean them and it will also soften the contact so that they dont bother ur eyes and they make u feel lyk u dont hav any thing on ur eyes.
