Can you substitute almond milk when a recipe calls for soy milk?

  1. It'll change the flavor, but I'm sure you can. You might need to alter the amount you use, or dilute it, if it's extra-thick.

    Also, this is obviously a bad idea if you're cooking for someone who is allergic to tree nuts.
