  1. i promise i just got the oven roasted chicken from them yesterday & wondered the same thing. they just do it to make it look nicer cuz underneath the grill marks it's just pale & kinda gross looking chicken.

  2. Do you mean the oven roasted chicken breast meat? I think it's just for looks. I also think these pieces of so-called meat look like tongues with all the blood drained! Yuck.

  3. I hate their chicken patties, i tried it once its too processed and the fake grill marks are horrific...ill stick to the processed yet mostly edible lunch meat.

  4. it's probably pre grilled when they recieve it.

good question. I love subway and get their chicken sandwich all the time.

  5. Great question. I believe subway uses the same the chicken for most items - but recently rolled out a "baked chkn" product. here's the rub...most subway restaurants are franchised, meaning their operated not by subway corporate but are endentured to abide by corporate rules and marketing. So...most units will simply use the pre-cooked grill marked chkn product for all their chkn sandwiches/salads, etc. Most franchisee's don't see the value in having to buy another chicken product from their distributor just because subway corporate is marketing a new item.
