Subway Regular subs and Promotions?

Which subs are considered "regular" at Subway? I always see this description for their deals...seems to be a copout to me. I went in and tried to order a chicken sub and was told it didn't qualify for the discount, only the regular subs qualified. Problem is, I can't ever get a straight answer from any Subway for what exactly is considered a regular sub. One cashier told me that the regular subs are the ones with the least amount of sales. That isn't cool. I can see how they would want to boost those sales, but if specific subs aren't selling, get rid of them!

So, what is actually a regular sub at Subway?

OOh  I know the answer to this one. Its the Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Turkey and Ham, some griled chicken strip one OH I can't remember them all. They are the ones on the board that says 6 grams of fat or less.

regular subs are: CCT Combo, Meatball, Pizza, Veggie,Ham.

These are the subs for $5.00 read the footerboard--its states on there what subs qualify.

I am a manager for subway--I know.

These are all popular subs that sell the most.

All I know is that the foot-long that I normally get was already $4.99!
