Subway commuters?

do you live in a city where you commute via subway ? do you talk to the people beside you . or have any funny or odd stories to share ? i live in a small canadian town ,with just a bus route , but i imagine a daily subway commute could be something .LOL. have a good day , and thanks.

I live in NYC and I travel via subway to school everyday.  No, i don't talk to anyone usually, but i have had some funny experiences where a random person and I have had interesting conversations.  You never know what to expect in Manhattan!

You do not make eye contact.  

You mind your own business.

I take the bus sometimes.  On occasion I talk to people if someone seems friendly.  It makes time go faster.
