  1. I think they are!

  2. they have a new thing out 5 dollars for a foot long. i think this is in response to people like you and me who feel it is overpriced. you're right it's rediculous and when you go in for their "daily special" and you ask for them to change it in the slightest way, they say no. every single one i've been to they act like they are doing you this huge favor by substituting a slice of ham for turkey. not only is it overpriced but their loyalty is not to the customers.

i used to work there and i always hooked it up though.

  3. yep they are!

  4. You must be getting one heck of a subwich ( that is what they

    are called here, Illinois )

  5. DEFINITELY over priced. And they just keep getting more expensive! And I hate how different subway franchises are allowed to charge different prices. Depending on location, apparently, according to someone I asked who works there. I used to pay $6 something at this one by my house (which is now $7 because apparently they don't make enough money on 29038012830 $6 subs...) and it was $7 something at this other location. It's always different!!! But yeah they keep putting prices up, AND they took the stamp promo away!! :( God forbid anyone gets anything for free... I mean really it was like buy 5 foot longs get a 6" free (should be another foot long in my opinion) so technically they're making like, $35 off you and you get $4 back. Not really a huge deal yet apparently it was. So they take away free stuff, AND increase prices... man Mr.Subway must be LOADED.

They're just lucky their mayo is so good. (You think it's laced with something or do I just have a mayo problem? And what's up with that intoxicating bread smell? Bread shouldn't smell that good...)

Sorry so long. I've been waiting to discuss this with someone actually...

Short answer: yes over priced, yes good, opinion: still not a good deal.

  6. It is $2.5 in India.

  7. That is in line with most sub places. Make your own. For that 10 bucks you could make 3 or 4 at home.

  8. I dont where you live, but where I am..its only about $6 for a foot long.

  9. I think all fast food place are way overpriced for the amount of food you get for your dollar.

  10. Yes, if you look at what they advertise and then see what you really get, Big difference. I go there only because my friend likes to eat there. I think the last time I was there just a sandwich the small one, turkey with cheese, not chips, or drink I paid right at $4.00. I could have gone down the street and gotten a burger and drink and fries for that. Where I live there Are not a lot of options. Fried, Fried or fried, oh yea there is a subway. We are getting a Quiz nos. Yea, can't wait to taste them.

  11. Well. thats deep subject.

Freash ingredints, made to order, in front you the customer! (not microwaved like (BURGER KING) or on rack like McDonalds) Having someone else prepareit for you! a typical sandwich at home the brad can't buy in one loaf, meat can't buy in just 1/4 pound (and fresh) think of veggys you'd have to store and sauces... can you prepare for yourself at home for that price/ onty think i say their should be any tax on food prepared or otherwise.

  12. $5 for a footlong. . .soundz good to me

  13. OK off topic I know, but are the burgers getting smaller at McDonald's? When I was a kid those big macs were huge now they're what the size of a cheese burger just a little higher

I hate fast food, no I love it oh god I don't know, I'm pregnant I want everything

  14. he said 10 bucks for the footlong COMBO

i dont think its overpriced at all,

you go to KFC youll pay nearly 10 bucks for a crappy burger chips and a drink, yes subway is just a sandwich but its a FOOT of sandwich!!

  15. Prices are set based on how much it costs to get the ingredients, how much employees are paid, how much additional expenses the owner has, how much the owner needs to live, and how much people are willing to pay.

If your local subway charges too much for their sandwich, then go in, let the manager know that because of their high prices, you are forced to eat elsewhere (hopefully some place close by), and then leave and go to the other place and eat.

If you can get enough people to do this, the owner will either have to cut prices or go out of business.

Frankly, our footlong sandwiches are only around $6 or $7. The prices are comperable to other fast food stops with similar topped sandwiches. And the Subway sandwiches are significantly less than Quizno's, at least in this area. A footlong there is around $11 and there are less toppings available.

  16. Yeah dude it's only $5 for a footlong and $12 for three footlongs

  17. You get a decent serve of fresh sandwich at a decent price. It is not overpriced compared with other places.

  18. subway sucks they are very overpriced...

  19. 5 bucks for a footlong.

  20. If the quality was better it wouldn't seem so overpriced.  Look at their commercials, then look at the piece of c**p you end up with.  Quizno's is much better.  There's an even better one if there's one where you are... Jimmy John's.  The JJ Gargantuan is awesome!
